ASD is seeking a Project Manager to support their USPS Program.Two Locations available: USA NC Raleigh & USA MN Eagan.

Job Description:Provide project management expertise and serve as a project manager for all Network and Compute Engineering initiatives. Tasks may include project management and strategic planning deliverables not limited to activities within the task order. USPS may add, change or delete from task as prioritized by business needs.Activities will include:
  • Organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization
  • Develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization
  • Plan and input to management work for multiple teams
  • Drive sprints; define quarterly/annual goals
  • Define and develop metrics to measure key indicators including value, efficiency, and effectiveness
  • Develop and present program status / metrics to senior management
  • Identify roadblocks and propose effective solutions
  • Track and report on the efforts of project teams or technology functions
  • Experience transitioning projects/services into on-going operational modes
  • Make recommendations of staffing and quality improvement initiatives
  • Develop an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement
  • Construct creative and professional organization and enterprise wide presentations and communication articles
  • Maintain team SharePoint site with pertinent and timely information regarding updates of Projects, the team activities, etc.
  • Oversee and understand all projects across the organization and act as an office manager.
  • Ability to positively influence peer organization and key stakeholders
  • Work with executive leadership to frame and develop program-level strategic plan to capture short- and long-term projects and continuous improvement activities
  • Assist management with attendance of ELT meetings on behalf of executive for note taking/project tracking to support/provide ELT updates.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors.
  • Support management team in defining, collecting, and reporting telecommunications system and project/program metrics.
  • Organize data to represent key measures of progress and performance for presentation to multiple levels of the Organization.
  • Assist with developing and improving processes.
  • Assist in improving control of production operations and project activities.
  • Develop and prepare appropriate metrics reports for operational and project activities for internal management and control, and for higher management information
Required Skills:
  • BA/BS preferred (or equivalent experience 5+ years of related work experience)
  • Minimum 10 Years of work experience
  • Fluency in technical and common MSOffice software (e.g. Powerpoint, Project, Word, Excel, and Visio)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to drive projects and provide day-to-day direction to team members
  • Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity of technology related to networking and/or server environments
  • PMP Certification
  • Agile Certification (PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master, etc.)
