Title: Project Manager-Finance Solutions

Location: Charlotte, NC, United States

Description: This Project Manager role is part of a larger change team supporting the Global Financial Control (GFC) organization which is responsible for providing effective project management support for various business led strategic efforts and related projects including process redesign, functional aligned operating models, policy changes, etc. Projects can be regulatory, organizational, process-only, or technical. This is a single contributor role and will be in Charlotte.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end execution for assigned projects and/or specific segments of a larger, complex project
  • Develop/maintain project plans, initiating implementation programs, creating status reports, presenting status to senior executives, and tracking progress
  • Ensure issues/risks are proactively identified, appropriately escalated, and include alternative approaches/mitigation plans and manage to resolution
  • Communicate, influence, and negotiate both vertically and horizontally to obtain partnership and engagement required to deliver project deliverables
  • Represent the project in various governance and inter-department forums, as appropriate

Required Skills:
  • 3-5 years change management, project management, PMO, finance or similar work experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent change management skills, including ability to think end-to-end, process design, business requirements, employee/operational readiness, testing, and implementation
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or timelines
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills and excellent communication (written and oral), influencing and facilitation skills
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Self-motivated, self-directed
  • Proficient with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)

Desired Skills:
  • Regulatory Reporting, Finance Management, Accounting, or similar background/experience
  • Experience with Client enterprise change processes and methodologies (Waterfall/Agile)
  • Experience with Client project management tools (i.e., PPRT, Nexus, SharePoint, Discovery)
  • Six Sigma, PMP certified.
