Description: Project Quality Manager (Operations) Mission/purpose of the Job: The mission of the Project Quality Manager is to ensure all quality processes and tools are performed according to the existing procedures, reaching project targets and objectives, and improving customer satisfaction. The Project Quality Manager is accountable for the Quality Assurance Plan in product and/or industrial projects, managing quality activities from start to end, assessing risks and taking corrective actions when necessary. Scope and influence:The Project Quality Manager operates mainly within the product and/or industrial project (organization and scope). And through the Quality Assurance Plan it influences several activities, tasks and deliverables in the project like Resource Plan, Payment Plan, Quality Tools Plan, etc. The Project Quality Manager has the mandate to take decisions concerning project quality activities in the project and how those should be planned, managed and followed.This position can be regional or local, multi-brand or single brand project respectively. Key responsibilities/Accountabilities: Project Quality:Create, align, communicate, update and follow-up of the Project Assurance PlanDevelop and follow-up the quality tool plan including manufacturing validation plan (PFMEA, Control Plan, Capability Studies, etc.)Assess, document and manage project risks and issues Define Quality and Environmental targets along with GTO Project Management TeamEnsure the appropriate project management processes are usedIdentify hard points and roadblocks, and elevate to GTO Project Manager and line organizationSupport/coach the project management team in driving the project with the right qualitySupport/coach project team and provide training in quality tools and methodsReport project quality status at project milestonesRepresent GTO in cross-functional quality forumsSolve ProblemsDocument lessons learned Key targets and results:Fulfilment of project quality KPI's for Project Quality Manager such as;QDCF (Quality, Delivery, Cost and Feature)Problem SolvingRisk managementFirst Time ThroughProject Product AuditFault Frequency One PERSONAL PROFILE Essential educational and/or training qualifications and certificates:Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalentSix Sigma Green/Black Belt, CQE or equivalentProject Management Professional recognized by PMI3-5 years of experience in Quality Management in Automotive or Heavy Equipment Industry Preferred experience and knowledge:Ability to lead activities & projects in a diverse environmentDriving pace with reliable and convincing approach in communication & presentation Holistic & open mindset and positive attitude to people & problemsTeaching/coaching skillsNecessary technical/functional/language skillsAs all documentation is in English, proficiency in the English language is required.
