Receiving Operator

Olsten Staffing is partnering with a well-established company in the Ansonville, NC area in recruiting for a Receiving Operator. Please apply now if you like to be a part of a great company!General purpose of the position: Unload (hopper bottom, dump) trailers and railcars. Maintain all paperwork associated with receiving operations.Duties & Responsibilities: Ability to communicate and follow directions both orally and in writing. Must be able to complete receiving logs with readable penmanship. Train annually and follow all applicable SOPs and cGMPs pertaining to Food Safety, Quality, regulatory Compliances, and Safety. To stand for long periods of time. Withstanding extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.) 0 to 100+ degrees. To Climb/travel to heights 0-180 feet (must be able to wear fall protection for inspecting the top of railcars.) Able to work in and around dust particles. Able to lift 75 lbs. Perform weekly housekeeping of assigned areas. Possess basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).Physical demands: Repetitive lifting of up to 75 lbs. Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, standing, turning, twisting, and walking.
