This includes but is not limited to graduate and undergraduate staff supervision and recruitment, residence hall operations, customer service, crisis management, student programming. hall opening and closing, health and safety checks, and serving in an on-call duty rotation.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to work in a residence hall environment Knowledge and skill in supervisory practices and techniques Effective written and oral communication skills Ability to establish and maintain effective student/staff relationships Knowledge of counseling, conflict management and crisis intervention strategies Sound organizational and administrative skills Familiarity with facilities maintenance and custodial processes Application and practice of student development approachesMinimum Education/Experience This position requires a master’s degree in education, college student personnel, counseling or human development, or a related field. When necessary, assist RAs and GAs in confronting residents who violate policies.
