Non-invasive Mechanical Airway Clearance Therapy
Chest Physiotherapy with suctioning
Arterial Puncture
Electrocardiogram (if performed)
Patient ReportingMinimum Education
Must be enrolled in a recognized Respiratory Care Program that has been approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care or its predecessor. The educational institution must verify that the student is in good standing with a minimum grade of 2.0 in all RCP courses, and an overall average of 2.0 must be maintained.Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Required Skills

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
