Risk & Security Analyst (Oracle SME) - REMOTE

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Risk & Security Analyst fora contract assignment with one of our premier Insurance Services clients in REMOTE or Cary, NC. The governance mainframe analyst will perform regular governance assessments for Mainframe hosted platforms to assess and to ensure compliance with Security Controls. This role will also interface with Information Security leadership, and business stakeholders. You will have current working knowledge of Mainframe platform security settings, working knowledge of current industry standard best practices, and previous Information Security compliance experience. You will also be expected to work collaboratively and effectively with a team to accomplish expected goals that align with the business strategy. Responsibilities :

• Solid understanding of Mainframe Platform Access Security for RACF, DB2, IMS, and CICS hosted platforms. Previous Mainframe DBA or Systems Engineering experience is a plus
• Experience performing regular SOX/SSAE18 reviews of InfoSec controls by evaluating mainframe platform user, entitlement, and configuration data
• Audit and compliance review experience with testing practices, policy checks and best practices
• Excellent technical and business communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
• Able to analyze large volumes of Mainframe platform security data in conjunction with external data sources
• Required tools experience include Vanguard, JCL, MS Office products with above average to expert level working knowledge of Excel
• Work with management and technical teams to review findings, plan and validate remediation
• Create and maintain process documentation
• Must be detailed, action, solution and result oriented, and dedicated to continuous improvement

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field with 3+ years of related experience OR high school diploma or equivalent
• Understanding of Regulatory, NIST practices and Access management risks and controls.
• Experience with Oracle
• 2+ years of IT work experience in information systems support, security administration, risk management, and/or audit principles

• Mainframe applications
• Optional tool experience includes ACL, Splunk, PowerShell, Active Directory, SQL Server, SQL scripting, Excel Power Query, MS Access, MS Power BI, Archer, SailPoint, , ServiceNow, REXX, FTP
• Azure DevOps experience and knowledge of SAFe Agile framework
• Process automation experience a plus
