Our culture in Risk Management and Compliance is all about thinking outside the box, challenging the status quo and striving to be best-in-class.As a Risk Management - Card Acquisitions - Vice President in Risk Management and Compliance, you will support the Head of Card Risk Acquisitions and leadership team to ensure the organization is anticipating and delivering against a wide range of requests. You will be asked to own initiatives and projects that are cross-functional in nature, spanning all Acquisitions as well as LOB and functional partners. You will need a broad skillset as responsibilities range from directing strategic and tactical execution to general management and communications responsibilities. You will be asked to own initiatives that are cross-functional in nature and require you to be focused on process, details and delivering results. You should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical skills. Your ability to influence senior leaders and to collaborate closely with a variety of internal stakeholders across various levels and functions within the organization is a key factor to your success in the role.Job Responsibilities:

Provide support and work closely with the Card Risk Acquisitions team in planning and directing strategic, operational and administrative activities to meet business objectives

Drive core business planning activities and strategic initiatives on behalf of the Card Risk Acquisitions, including broad communication of strategic direction and implications

Ensure tight coordination, proactive management, and on-time delivery of key deliverables; project manage and execute key initiatives

Provide strategic input and develop recommendations on all organizational structure and resource allocation needs

Facilitate communication with internal and external partners to understand issues and effectively work to solve any problems, as needed

Ensure all periodic reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) and functional review processes are executed; ensure accountability and completion of action items from reviews

Build and maintain relationships with peers inside and outside the organization and ensure strong collaboration across teams

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 6 years work experience

Must have prior project management and/or credit risk experience, including experience turning findings into executable plans

Demonstrated excellent analytical, problem resolution, and decision-making skills

Superior judgment, collaboration, and presentation skills including strong oral and written communication skills

Flexibility to work under continual deadline pressure required with an ability to manage multiple simultaneous objectives is imperative

Must be able to handle confidential information in a professional manner
