Client, Enterprise Platform Services Group requires the services of a Salesforce Platform Owner, with experience in managing delivery of multiple Salesforce platform components and establishing governance structure for Salesforce platform.Responsibilities:
  • Understand various Salesforce capabilities and be able to provide input and recommendation during platform selection
  • Understand various licensing model and provide input to the Portfolios during cost analysis
  • Work with business teams, various ITD teams, portfolio managers to plan and deliver various Salesforce implementations
  • Establish a lean work intake and prioritization model for various ITD Salesforce initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with other Platform Owners to establish a governance structure for various platform implementations
  • Identify standard skillset and roles needed for Salesforce implementations (both for governance and portfolio teams)
  • Establish framework of operations (Standards, Policies etc) for Salesforce implementations
  • Identify and create budget forecast (resources, training, technology etc…)
  • Facilitate healthy relationships across program teams with diverse technical & non-technical roles
  • Anticipate issues and risks that may jeopardize the success of program components or the program as a whole
  • Oversee dependencies and remove obstacles that pose risk to program success across multiple functional organizations and project teams
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience managing large-scale Salesforce implementations including technical solution delivery, functional and technical team performance and project financials
  • Experience establishing governance structure for Salesforce platform
  • Familiar with overall Salesforce capabilities and licensing models
  • Lead multiple client engagements and associated activities (e.g., planning, budgeting, resource mobilization, deliverable definition, and work product)
  • Experience identifying, developing, and implementing techniques to improve engagement productivity (e.g., increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings)
  • Demonstrated organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills with the ability to work well in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability to successfully collaborate with multiple functions associated in the areas of software engineering, infrastructure, product management and business operations
Certifications:
  • Certified Salesforce Advanced Developer desired
  • PMP certification a plus

Required Skills
  • Experience implementing and managing Salesforce solutions Required 5 Years

  • Project management experience, preferably with large, complex automation implementation efforts involving vendor management Required 7 Years
  • Demonstrated Project Management experience on system deployments with multiple clients Required 7 Years

  • PMI certification Project Management Professional (PMP) Highly desired
  • Strong supervision, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills. Required
  • Demonstrated presentation, training skills, oral and written communication skills. Required
  • Solid work experience with project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project) Required 7 Years
