Salt Production Operator

Friday Services is looking for Salt Operators for a Client located in Waynesville which is the largest supplier of Epsom Salt in North America. An entry-level job where you can grow with the company!

Salt Machine Operator Duties:

Employee will unload trucks of pallets, super sacks, film, or other raw materials, as they arrive at the dock and notify the appropriate personnel of the material’s arrival. Load packaged salt onto outbound trailers and complete required paperwork for each load, including Bill of Lading, internal transfer slips, pick lists. Employee will help manage warehouse cleanliness and organization and manage truck traffic to and from the dock. Employee will need to communicate trucking/load issues with plant management, Lead Operators, and the customer service representative as needed.

Special Knowledge, Skills and Training:

Forklift certification (willing to train, if needed, and will become certified on the job)

Basic mechanical aptitude/troubleshooting skills

Ability to lift up to 55-pound bags of salt, climb ladders, and work on an elevated platform and stand/walk for the majority of the shift
