Short Description: Complete Description: Contract SAP Basis Administrator Production Support This position is primarily remote, however; on-site work will be required at the discretion of the hiring manager. If the candidate is required to come onsite the manager will try to provide as much notice as possible and travel will be at the candidate's expense. The North Carolina Office of the State Controller is looking for two Senior SAP Basis Administrators to: - Monitor and maintain the SAP NetWeaver R/3, ERP, BW, Gateway, PI, Solution Manager, and Business Objects systems, Perform SAP technical upgrades (SAP Kernel, Support Packs, Add-ons), - Perform backup/restore, - Troubleshoot extending tables, creating indices, collecting statistics, - Provide end-user support resolving technical issues, - Engage in performance tuning activities, investigate reasons for poor system performance, Participate in on-call pager rotation.
