Job Summary

The SAP Security Manager will lead and perform SAP security configurations and role design, SAP GRC support and improvements, annual SOX audit governance, risk analysis reporting and remediation activities. This position requires significant experience in designing, developing and supporting SAP on premise, HEC and cloud security solutions. The preferred candidate will have experience in SAP with SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Access Control (AC) and Process Control (PC) domains, along with SAP security models. In addition, the candidate should have experience with multiple S/4 and SAP SAAS end-to-end implementations, and operational support experience in SAP IDM and other security components.

Job Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for crafting, developing and supporting security solutions using SAP security with tools such as GRC and SAP IDM across multiple SAP components such as ECC, HCM, SRM, Ariba, Concur, Fieldglass, SuccessFactors BizX RBP, SuccessFactors IAS, S4/HANA, BI/BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud and Business Technology Platform.Designs, configures, and supports the SAP GRC Access Control (the latest version) landscape including the implementation and maintenance of Access Control, Process Control, and Risk Management modules.Identifies gaps in existing SAP security configurations and documentation, and designs/implements remediation activities.Facilitates scheduled User Access Reviews and remediation activities within SAP GRC workflows and connected systems.Supports Emergency Access Management / Hypercare and/or service outage access requests, workflows, and related reviews across multiple platforms.Participates in SAP related projects and implementations with the business and SAP functional teams supporting all security role design, configuration, and testing requirements.Provides guidance in the definition of solution design practices and standards that link back to SAP best practices.Works with overall Information Security and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure security design meets Compass Group security standards. Develops enhanced Compass SAP security standards as required.

Technical Qualifications:Expertise in SAP security best practices is essential.Experience with S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Security, SAP IDM 7.2, and SAP BTP is required.Technical knowledge of SAP security architecture and role-based authorization models for relevant SAP systems (ECC, BW, S4/HANA, SOLMAN, GRC, BizX RBP, etc.) is required.Solid understanding in SAP Security tables is required, and the ability to efficiently and accurately, identify Authorization errors using SUIM, SU53 and ST01, etc to provide consultative support to the Business.Solid understanding in SAP development methodologies including strong troubleshooting and issue resolutions skills is highly preferred.SAP ADM900, ADM940, ADM950, ADM960, GRC100 and HA240 course completion is preferred if the candidate does not currently hold SAP security certification.

Soft Skills Qualifications:Proven leadership in managing, governing and providing oversight of internal teams, 3rd party integrators, consultants and vendors through various initiatives.Must have excellent mentorship skills and willing to share knowledge and skills with other team members.Ability to communicate well in written reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals desired.Willingness to respond to major operational issues and deployments outside of business hours and on weekends for planned/unplanned activities.

Education & Experience

  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of overall SAP Security experience required, with a minimum 5 years hands on experience in secure SAP systems analysis and design, and technical/functional solutions delivery (supporting configuration and custom development).
  • Attainment of the SAP Certified Technology Professional - Systems Security Architect certification is highly preferred.
