This position plays a key analytical role, supporting Corporate Strategy and Corporate Development. The position will participate in dynamic environment on project-based work that evolves during a year. Position will support M&A activities and strategic initiatives, providing financial modeling, project analysis, and insight generation.

  • Model and maintain the corporate long term financial model, incorporating impact of external market trends, strategic initiatives and ongoing business performance
  • Develop and update valuation models. Analyze financial and operational results of acquisition targets and perform sensitivity analysis based on business model drivers
  • Provide analytical and process management support to strategic (e.g., Enterprise risk management) and M&A initiatives
  • Build and manage business intelligence knowledge base on competitors, M&A transactions and key sector performance metrics to share with leadership and broader organization
  • Support HBI knowledge sharing through issuing The Daily Brief and maintaining info base on competitors, M&A transactions and key sector performance metrics
  • Participate in additional corporate initiatives that are sponsored or supported by the Strategy or Corp Dev teams; support multiple projects at a time
  • Required Education/Certification: BA or BS (Finance, Economics, Math, Analytics)
  • Preferred Education/Certification: MBA
  • Required Years of Experience: 4 Years
  • Preferred Years of Experience: 3+ years of business experience
  • Experience building and evaluating financial models
  • Ability to identify, structure and solve business problems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (presenting, meeting facilitation)
  • Project management skills to structure initiative work, and prioritize and execute across multiple workstreams
  • Collaboration and relationship building across organization, operating with executive team and in a team environment
  • Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Work ethic, detail orientation and passion for excellence
  • Ability to pivot between projects and enjoys a fast paced environment
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adding structure to complex issues
  • Insight generation: distill the meaning from large and/or disparate data sources
  • Desire and drive to make an impact
