Senior Business System Analyst, Financial Crimes (Remote)Large Banking Company This role will be part of our Business Solutions organization within the Operations & Process Excellence group. The Business Solutions group is comprised of 40+ business analysts who cover various product areas of the bank's core banking system (e.g. Deposit, Loans, Treasury, etc.). The Business Solutions team reports into the Head of Operations and partners with business enablement technology, line of businesses, operation end users and compliance to execute on the bank's strategic priorities. This role will report to the Director in Business Solutions and will cross functionally align into a newly established team within BST that covers Anti-Money Laundering (AML) aspects of core banking. This role will specifically serve as a IT project liaison between operations and the Global Financial Crimes Division (GFCD), executing on end users activities related to requirements creation, system design, end user testing and implementation.Overall accountability / functional oversight The BST Compliance team specifically acts as the bridge between operations and GFCD, specifically supporting five areas of compliance related matters: Data Privacy, Data Quality Management, Know Your Customer (KYC), Fraud, Transaction Filtering, and Transaction Monitoring. This role will provide direct support for the Business Solution Core Banking Payments, Deposits, Loans, Treasury, Trade systems specific to the Global Financial Crime Global Consolidation program with the AML Compliance expertise. As a senior analyst, you will need to balance project execution and production support to ensure appropriate program deliverables are meant on time and with high quality.In this role the successful candidate will possess sufficient understanding of the following subject matter areas:

  • Identification and management of the Product source system data interfaces with the data lake and downstream compliance systems
  • Support IT and Compliance partner queries on the Source Systems, interfaces, mapping, transformations, Data Requirements
  • Derive and support the IT partners in validating the data mapping from the source systems
  • Identify the source and compliance system dependencies and impact
  • Identify any new source interfaces part of the scope and support the execution of the program
  • Liaison with the Program Execution team, and Compliance Stakeholders
  • Ensure the BST owned work break down activities completed on time
  • Prepare the Test Support Strategy, support the Change Management & Implementation readiness activities Corporate customer onboarding data elements understanding including fields specifically denoted as protected personal information
  • Corporate customer onboarding workflows including the understanding of global relationship banking models
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain Global compliance program execution to be in consistent with GFCD related policies, specifically in the area of Privacy/Transaction Filtering/Monitoring
  • Support the AML track lead in the area of Fraud, Transaction Monitoring, specifically including the initial documentation of product incoming / outgoing flows and subsequent annual reassessments investigations
  • Participate in periodic business review sessions with Operations and GFCD to ensure appropriate cross project control, production coordination, and overall consistency of upstream and downstream user interactions
  • Engage with GFCD technology on periodic basis to support routine activities related to the core banking system, including supporting TMS alert tuning, introduction of new TMS alert monitoring, or other relevant GFCD AML maintenance activities
Qualifications
  • Require Bachelor's degree with specific focus on Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting
  • Prefer advanced degree in related IT or Business discipline (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, etc.)
  • Prefer relevant certifications such as Business Analysis, PMP, CAPM, CAMS, Agile Product Management, or other relevant certifications
  • Require 5-6 years' experience in traditional corporate banking financial institution in the role of operations, IT, or compliance specifically working with core banking product concepts
  • Prefer prior experience working in a consulting capacity, servicing the financial service industry in the area of Anti-Money Laundering
  • Require prior experience driving or participating in large IT project management within a user capacity, specifically executing on requirements creation, design review, user test planning, and system migration/implementation
  • Require prior experience performing AML system implementation or migration, specifically working with the data staging area and product mapping portion of alert creation
  • Working knowledge of system access entitlement control settings and configurations, including how security access profiles are structured
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to accurately translate bi-directionally between operations and compliance end users
  • Track record working in matrix organization and ability to horizontally and vertically cut across the organization to deliver on well-rounded and quality driven deliverables
  • Willingness and flexibility to meet tight deadlines, and high level of emotional intelligence to appropriate create deliverables that deliver a consolidated voice of all stakeholders
