Timmons Group is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector to join our Infrastructure Stormwater Group. We are looking for someone who can work on-site in Fayetteville, NC at one of our esteemed client’s projects sites.  The Senior Construction Inspector will oversee the construction phase of a specific project from a contract administration perspective, with the potential to support other projects. These projects may involve sensitive political or environmental issues, coordination with property owners, dry utility companies, and local county and state agencies. The primary project is focused on roadway and stream drainage. The Senior Construction Inspector will work under the Timmons Group Senior Project Manager, managing the transition from an awarded bid and through construction. Responsibilities include managing all necessary project documents, such as Payment Requisition Recommendations, Requests for Information (RFIs), Change Orders (COs), Potential Change Orders (PCOs), Submittals, Daily Work Reports (DWRs), Punch Lists, Project Closeout Completion Letters, Bond Release, Meeting Minutes, Monthly Progress Reports, Loan Draws, Escrow Fund Releases, Material Inspection Reports, and correspondence with various governmental agencies.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Communicate with clients, stakeholders, project managers, inspectors, and contractors. Develop construction contract documents. Review and respond to project documents (RFIs, submittals, plans, pay requisitions, change orders). Facilitate and attend project meetings. Resolve field construction issues. Prepare field directives/sketches. Keep the Project Manager informed of progress. Review project plans for constructability. Review bid tabulations and recommend awards. Visit construction sites and document observations. Perform cost estimating and review contractor pricing. Build and review construction schedules. Skills/Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in relevant construction work. Experience in coordinating, scheduling, and managing construction documents. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, standards, and terminology. Understanding of safety, environmental, and EEO/DBE regulations. Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural plans. Logical and systematic thinking through project phases. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks. Valid driver's license. Knowledge of market rates for major construction cost items is a plus. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
