1. Support the International S&OP ProcessActively contribute to the S&OP process, ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance on demand forecasts and supply plans.Partner with regional and global teams to balance demand requirements with supply chain capabilities and business priorities.Prepare and present demand and supply insights to aid decision making.2. Demand Forecasting and Planning:Develop and maintain demand forecasts at multiple levels (product, region, customer, channel) using statistical models, historical data, market trends, and commercial inputs.Monitor forecast performance and continuously refine assumptions to improve accuracy.Proactively identify and resolve demand-supply imbalances in collaboration with supply planners and supplier management teams.3. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with sales, marketing, finance, supply planning and customer supply chain teams to incorporate market intelligence, promotional plans, and strategic initiatives into the demand plan.Support new product launches, transitions, and end-of-life planning by aligning demand forecasts with inventory and production strategies.Serve as the demand planning subject matter expert for assigned categories.4. Continuous Improvement:Identify opportunities to enhance forecasting tools, analytics, and planning methodologies.Drive automation and standardization initiatives to improve efficiency and data integrity.Promote best practices and foster a culture of data-driven planning.5. Analytics and Decision Support:Analyze demand data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, improve forecast accuracy, and optimize inventory levels.Provide actionable insights to senior leadership to inform data-driven decision-making.6. Supplier and Inventory Collaboration:Collaborate with supply planning and supplier management teams to ensure demand forecasts align with production schedules and capacity constraints.Contribute demand insights during supplier reviews and planning discussions to enhance end-to-end supply chain performance.
