Job Summary/Company:A Sparks Group Partner is seeking a Senior Developer/Support Engineer to join their team. This position is 100% remote. Candidate must sit in NC, TX, OH, FL, TN, or DC. Responsibilities:- Design/code new applications as well as enhancing and maintaining existing applications
- Identify/resolve production issues
Qualifications/Background Profile:- Bachelor's degree or education/training in an IT related field
- 8+ years of IT experience in analysis, design, development, documentation, implementing and testing of software systems in Java, Spring, J2EE App server (preferably WebSphere)
- 3+ years' experience with Unix or RedHat Linux
- Strong working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline software such as TFS, Git, Jenkins, Maven, etc.
- Experience supporting complex transactional systems
- Sound RDBMS concepts and SQL skills
- COVID-19 vaccine: must be fully vaccinated prior to starting assignment
