- Project Description:Equities / CRG Data serves as a strategic data hub for Front and Middle Office applications across Global Market Equities / CRG, providing a high performance Reference & Transactional Data capabilities for the Global Equities / CRG business at Bank. Equities / CRG Data technology as well as operations has presence across the globe and operates a follow-the-sun model.The Transaction Data team within Equities / CRG Data provides trade data standardization, aggregation and reporting capabilities for the business through its Depot Global platform. Standardized data from various front-office systems flow through an enterprise messaging bus, which are then transformed, aggregated and warehoused in custom-built data marts. The trade data is then used for regulatory reporting (including real time reporting) and analytics purposes. Depot Global houses 200TB+ of data and 25+ critical regulatory reporting requirements for the Bank.Development work will include building new database schemas to support Equities single stock and derivates and Fixed Income, implementing data retrieval and data transformations, working with upstream and downstream dependencies and implementing critical reporting. Critical Compliance reporting is a major part of the role so understanding US rules and regulations like OATS and MSI605/606 are an important component. This role also include working closely with the data providers on data quality to ensure continual improvement to the platform.
- Responsibilities:Candidate will be mainly responsible for taking lead in critical cost saving initiatives for the firm that will require a pro-active mindset and an eye for detail. This could include but not limited to large data migration efforts and consolidations across multiple systems in various regions across the globe.Candidate will also be responsible for working on a transactional data warehousing application transforming data into the data warehouse for Equities and Fixed Income. This role includes making this data available to downstream dependencies and building critical Compliance and business reporting off this warehouse.
- Mandatory Skills Description:- 8+years of experience in developing, testing and implementing database programs using Oracle tools.- Strong experience in Oracle development, PL/SQL and data modeling.- Experience with Oracle Version 11g, 12c and above- Experience working with large amounts of data or big databases.- Experience in Oracle Exadata- Extensive experience with oracle functions, procedures, triggers & packages.- Experience in performance tuning: SQL and PL/SQL programs- Fix problems related to database performance and provide corrective measures.- Extensive experience in PL/SQL tables, Indexes, DDL, DML, Writing complex SQL statements, job scheduling etc.- Experience in Ctrl-M for job automation- Extensive experience in unit testing and integration testing- Experience in writing load testing PL/SQL scripts.- Experience in Oracle Data Load
- Nice-to-Have Skills:- Experience or Knowledge of Java is a plus.- Experience working on Cloud technologies is a big plus.
