As a Sr Estimator focused primarily on Building Automation Systems here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our Pre-bid process. This position involves managing the estimation process through collaboration with various stakeholders to understand deliverables, develop competitive project bids. The Senior Estimator ensures that the bid team has the necessary inputs to produce high-quality work that aligns with the organization's objectives and standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements, review and analyze project plans, and provide guidance and support to project managers and other stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to be part of a high performing team and be a major contributor to our success.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEstimation: Input study, RFI generation, HVAC equipment take-off, IO summary preparation, DDC controller and field device selection, BOQ preparation, costing, valve selection, conduit/cable schedule.Requirements and Cost: Studying specifications for inclusions/exclusions, technical qualifications/assumptions, and cost details (taxes, 3rd party commission).Document Management: Capture all deviations, compliance details, and technical qualifications.Vendor Management: RFQ generation for subcontractor bids, ensuring comprehensive deliverables for effective proposals.Proposal Generation: Create Statements of Work with inclusion/exclusion details, ensuring compliance to specifications and customer preferences.YOU MUST HAVE6+ years of experience in estimating, preferably in a leadership roleExperience with Electrical contractor or BAS provider in similar capacityExposure to Building Automation (Management) SystemsStrong knowledge of construction industry practices and standardsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levelsProficient in using estimating software and toolsWE VALUEBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldMaster's degree or professional certificationAbility to coordinate with multiple stakeholders from different geographic regions in multiple time zonesStrong leadership and team management skillsAbility to drive results and meet deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and accuracyContinuous learning mindsetFrench language skills a plusHoneywell is an equal opportunity employer.
