A North Carolina retail organization is currently seeking an experienced Front End Developer for a great Senior-level opportunity with their Charlotte-based team. In this role, the Senior Front End Developer will be responsible for building customer-first front end web applications and experiences based on wireframes, visual designs, and UX specifications using the latest development standards and best practices. The qualified professional will be allowed to work remotely, but
MUST be able to work EST hours. Responsibilities: The Senior Front End Developer will:- Write maintainable code using best practices for readability
- Document software requirements, use-cases, and behaviors
- Contribute to the development of our internal tools and reusable architecture
- Integrate with REST APIs or other back end frameworks
- Implement the latest accessibility best practices
- Accurately estimates upcoming work and delivers reliably
- Assure collaboration with the Project Management team in establishing and meeting workable requirements and deadlines for digital deliverables
- Assure cross-platform development of features across our digital properties that are designed to meet the needs of users
- Assure continuous advancement of development procedures by engaging in the mobile app/web development communities and sharing learnings with the team
- Perform other duties, as needed
- 5+ years of professional Front End Software Development experience
- Experience with developing single page web applications (SPAs) using a recent version of Angular (11/12/13/14)
- Experience with Writing unit, functional, and end-to-end tests
- Solid understanding of Web Application and Web Browser Performance
- Experience with Loosely Coupled Architecture
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Bachelor's Degree
- GitHub Portfolio Work
- Experience with Delivering customer-focused applications for retail organizations
- Familiarity working with and troubleshooting Webpack
- Experience integrating with SAP Spartacus & SAP Commerce
- Working knowledge of Headless Content Management System (CMS) or Digital Experience Platform (DXP) solutions, such as Contentstack
- Familiarity with Headless Personalization and Experience Optimization platforms, such as DynamicYiel
