Senior Legal SupervisorCharlotte, NC#Hybrid 3;2 after first 90 daysAs a Senior Legal Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will be accountable for providing legal counsel and assistance to ensure maximum protection of the legal rights in areas including but not limited to contract creation and negotiations, disputes (formal and informal), intellectual property matters, and risk-opportunity analysis for business transactions. You will oversee the legal function globally, manage a team of legal professionals, and work closely with senior leadership to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risk. You will report directly to our General Counsel, and you’ll work out of our Charlotte, North Carolina location on a hybrid work schedule.In this role, you will impact the company's legal strategy and compliance in a dynamic and innovative environment. You will play a pivotal role in guiding the organization through complex legal landscapes, overseeing global legal functions, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work closely with other IP Services team members to ensure compliance with established standards and procedures, build reports, perform system audits, and supervise pending RAIL actions

Partner with Honeywell business unit’s Intellectual Property attorneys, paralegals and technical teams to support the IP Legal Center of Excellence’s efforts to build and maintain Honeywell’s intellectual property portfolios

Manage intake of IP matters, manage inventory of assets and IP portfolios; maintain matters and facilitate reporting through legal management systems

Resolve billing issues

Work with licensing team member(s), lead licensing activities, liaise with SBG licensing teams as needed

Partner with IT to solve any technical/system issues

Provide paralegal and administrative support to Honeywell Strategy Business groups including corporate intellectual property and information management

Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices to enable productivity improvement and cost reduction

Grow and develop expertise with continuous learning opportunity across the functions

Support Honeywell personnel on routine IP matters by preparing agreements and/or ordering documents

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum 6+ years’ experience with Intellectual Property legal issues
