Senior Java Developer - Backend / Full Stack

We are looking for a highly motivated backend Java developer who has very good experience with Core Java, J2EE, Spring, Springboot, Microservices, Messaging, Database programming, UI development and CI/CD. Prospective candidates will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in the banking / Capital Markets (Foreign Exchange) and finance domain.

• 5+ years of managing development teams and delivering enterprise solutions.
• 5+ years of application development and implementation experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Core Java/J2EE, Multi-threading, Web Applications.
• Extensive experience working with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Framework.
• Experience with Messaging Middleware like Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ.
• Experience in building microservice based applications using Rest API and Spring Boot.
• Strong RDBMS skills (MySQL preferred), JPA, and Hibernate.
• Experience with CI/CD build pipelines (Maven, Jenkins, GitHub)
• Experience capital markets is preferred.

• Exposure to distributed design and message-driven Architectures.
• Cloud experience preferably AWS.
• Background in Scrum Agile development is a plus.
• Financial domain knowledge preferably real-time, ACH and Fedwire payments processing.
• Business Process Modeling experience such as Flowable.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
