Senior Product Designer

• You have 5+ years of experience as a product designer or related design discipline (UI, UX, User Research; excelling in one or more of these areas)

• You have a portfolio that demonstrates your experience as a product designer and can share details of the hows and whys of your designs

• You’re passionate about the details and will work to make the execution of detailed work repeatable and learnable within the team

• Experienced working with skilled developers, in a customer focused and agile work environment. We collaborate on nearly every detail and will want to work with you if you enjoy solving design problems in a team first company culture

• Experience with and understanding of the development lifecycle a major plus (The terms development API and Web Component don’t scare or confuse you)

• Dynamic, growing software development consultancy looking for a capable Sr. Product Designer with room to grow into Craftsman (project lead) as the company expands

• Reporting to and working closely with the Product Design Director

• Full time, 9am-5pm Monday through Friday (your personal life is important and we want to honor that)

• End-to-end design of complex user interactions from user flows to wireframes to polished interface prototypes

• Work alongside the Product Design Director to develop and mentor Jr. Designers, cross-functional developers and seasoned development staff in the practice of product design

• Contribute to creating a design team that’s supportive and team-oriented, inline with our core values

• Contribute to building out design practices while remaining flexible and goal oriented

• Partner with product managers, engineers and clients to solve complex problems while allowing for balanced compromises that enable the delivery of working software in an iterative and agile manner

• Committed to continually learning, training, and improving yourself and others’ craft and collaboration skills.

• Working knowledge of modern HTML/CSS best practices (we’d like to hear what this means to you)

• Experience working in a software consultancy, design agency or product company

• Good collaborator, in keeping with our core values

• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, visual)

• Experience working across web, desktop, iOS and Android, with a strong focus on web application design

• Proficient in Figma (preferred) or related design tools like Sketch or Adobe XD

• Comfortable in developing user flows, wireframes, and clickable prototypes to communicate design concepts quickly to team members and client stakeholders

• Flexible, and adaptable, with strong organizational and analytical skills

• $90,000 to $110,000 (depending on experience)
