LOCATION:
  • Charlotte, North Carolina - 100% remote for now, then will sit Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) when staff transitions back into the office after February.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Serve as a high specialized, senior-level technical application lead focusing on operational stability by driving IT operations readiness through the continuous improvement in our products
  • Work closely with development teams and business partners
  • Provide coaching to junior operations teams' members
  • Implement enhanced monitoring and alerting capabilities for distributed platforms
  • Aid in the development of automation to reduce MTTR and manual tasks

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:
  • 5+ years of relevant background experience
  • Experience driving large scale development efforts in an agile environment
  • Must have thorough understanding of DevOps practices with a focus on managing production environments
  • Experience using technical knowledge, creativity, and company practices and to develop proactive alerting and monitoring
  • Experience developing runbooks and patterns for AWS/DevOps operations
  • Experience working with IT business and development to develop new capabilities in displaying/monitoring/alerting on key performance indicators (KPIs)
