Job Summary/Company:

A Sparks Group Partner is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their engineering team and work alongside Product, QA, and DevOps in building and maintaining Conductiv's Software-as-a-Service analytics platform. Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, look for areas of improvement, develop/implement solutions that meet business requirements
  • Improve complex processes and systems to make them more robust and require less human intervention
  • Write clean, high-quality code and test while keeping the system fast and reliable
  • Update, implement, and maintain tickets and documentation on technical work completed
  • Provide leadership, training, and guidance to junior staff

Qualifications/Background Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and/or industry certifications
  • 5 years of applicable experience building and maintaining back-end services and/or front-end applications
  • Front-end experience: React, TypeScript, HTML, JavaScript, consuming RESTful APIs and various front-end toolchains (NPM, Node, etc.)
  • Back-end experience:
    • C#, ASP.NET, Web APIs, .NET Framework 4.x+, .NET Core 3.x+
    • Azure Platform-as-a-Service Architecture patterns
    • Azure SQL, Cosmos DB (NoSQL), Redis Cache, Transactional vs Analytical usage patterns
    • Task or queue-based systems
  • Strong communication skills: unpacking in-depth analytics domain constraints/rules and discussing complex technical concepts to engineers and non-engineers
  • Experience with Git version control system
  • Agile software development principles
