Piper Companies is currently looking for a

Senior

Software Engineer in Raleigh, NC to work for a life insurance and annuity company. The Software Engineer is responsible for designing and developing web and application solutions, components, shared service solutions, vendor and cloud platform integrations, REST APIs, and microservices based upon a thorough analysis and decomposition of business requirements and needs.

Responsibilities for the Senior Software Engineer include:

• Participates in the complete software development lifecycle including design, specifications, and development.

• Partners with architecture for design

• Designs and/or documents process models and flows, rules, and solutions

• Ensure the performance of the developed solution(s) meet expectation and requirement.

Qualifications for the

Senior

Software Engineer include:

• Strong experience with REST API from Scratch.

• Strong JavaScript (ideally react / node) Can come from a java.

• Ideally Node experience

• Experience with AWS preferred

• Bachelor's Degree in computer Science or similar field.

Compensation for the

Senior

Software Engineer include:

• Salary Range: $110,000 - $145,000 based on experience.
