Develop and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of infrastructure
Work closely with developers to ensure the system is designed and scaled according to SLO's
Automate tasks and create tools to improve efficiency and accuracy of testing
Define, document, and perform tests required to meet committed non-functional requirements
Participate in capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning
Ensure compliance with security policy and best practices
Required Qualifications
7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated one or combination of following: work experience, military experience, education
5+ years of experience in supporting enterprise level complex applications and platforms
5+ years of experience in building and debugging Java/C#, Python software artifacts
5+ years of experience working with automation and monitoring tools (Ansible, Grafana, Elastic, Splunk)
3+ years of experience supporting enterprise level complex applications and platforms in production
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix/MS operating systems
Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with infrastructure scripting (Shell/Python)
Knowledge of network protocols, IP networks, DNS, routing, and firewalls
Experience with OAuth, Certificate Management, TCL/SSL and Kerberos
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB , storage systems: SAN, NAS)
Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking
