Software Engineer I

Our goal in the Software Development Information Technology organization is to help Spectrum succeed by securely and rapidly delivering the best and most efficient technology in support of our business. We do this through a mix of delivery teams, operations functions, and corporate shared services like Architecture, End-to-End Test and Security.BE PART OF THE CONNECTIONAs a SOFTWARE ENGINEER I on the Agent Tools, you’ll work with technical teams to create software solutions that use prevailing technologies and improve the customers’ experience while adhering to business and technical requirements. Design and develop specific software subsystems under the guidance of senior software engineers.WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUMRequired Qualifications

Experience : Experience with database management systems, 0-1 year; experience with coding, testing, and designing software, 0-1 year; experience with software development methodologies, 0-1 year

Education : BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills : Basic knowledge of coding principles. Knowledge of one major programming language/tool. Knowledge of coding language and syntax, usage of functions and object-oriented patterns. Understanding of applicable technical systems and programming in a general sense. Showcases capability level work to their team

Abilities : Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Ability to follow standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained and work on problems of limited scope. Ability to apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues

Schedule : Full time, office environment.
