Job Description:

The successful candidate will assist the operations manager as needed working across multiple teams and projects in a fast paced and multi-priority environment within the Software License Monitoring and Compliance (SLiC) organization. The primary goal of the SLiC team is to mature the Bank's processes and tools to ensure software license compliance to contracts and optimization the software portfolio. Principle Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Partners with operations manager to identify issues, gaps, improvement opportunities around monitoring and intake activities and processes (includes additional reporting needs or platform/tool updates)

• Assist operations manager with efforts related to the simplification and automation of manual processes and manual data entry

• Strong partnerships with SLiC functional leads (Intake, Monitoring, Remediation, Technical Support) as well as external partners

• Assist with planning and requirements discussions for identified gaps or issues

• Partners with operations manager to update procedures as process and automation changes occur when needed

• Assist operations manager with follow ups to critical issues

Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Experience with Software Asset Management or contract compliance
  • Experience with Procurement software contracts negotiation, software sourcing and/or software procurement including purchase orders
  • Strong communication skills (including verbal, written, presentation and active listening) and ability to establish partnerships with external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to facilitate meetings
  • Attention to detail and delivery of a high quality work product
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
  • Ability to adjust and react with optimism and professionalism-solution oriented.
  • Proficient with Visio, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Ability to summarize at executive level

Desired Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of software compliance tools, specifically Flexera, BMC Discovery, Microsoft CM
  • Ability to read software contacts and identify relevant terms and conditions as they relate to the software license compliance.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking • Bachelors degree with 3-5 years experience in a business analyst or technical role
