Job Title: Solution Architect - Migration (Google Cloud Platform Data)Location: Charlotte, NCTravel/Relocation/Remote: Relocation required Responsibilities• 15 years of hands on experience in implementing ELT solution with data migration experience• 5 years experience in Big Data technologies• Distributed Multi tier Application Development Database Design Data processing Data Warehouse• Experience in migrating at least one medium to large application data from on prem to Google Cloud Platform• Experience architecting data solutions on Google Cloud Platform e g Big Data Projects Data Migrations BI etc• Act as a Subject Matter Expert to the client organization for Google Cloud Platform end to end architecture networking provisioning and management• Hands on experience working with Google Data Products BigQuery Dataflow Dataproc Building Blocks Looker Cloud Data Fusion Dataprep etc• Deep understanding of ETL development and tools Teradata AB Initio Spark Java preferred and Python Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for private public and hybrid cloud models including IaaS PaaS and other cloud services• Deep DBMS experience on multiple platforms Incl Oracle Teradata and SQL Server• Advanced understanding of data warehousing ETL concepts esp change data capture• Working experience as Agile developer and good understanding of SDLC methodologies guidelines• Experience at developing complex UNIX shell scripts• Experience with CI CD Agile tools DevOps Splunk REST API Source control and versioning tools• Experience documenting business requirements functional specifications and test plans• Excellent communication and collaboration skills experience working in client collaborative environment on Data driven projects Knowledge of Financial domain is preferred DisclaimerCapgemini is an Equal Opportunity Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.
