Spicewalla Hiring Graphic Designer

Job Overview: This position will collaborate with our sales & marketing team to bring our story to life through visually stunning graphics and packaging. You’re the right fit for this role if you have experience in graphic and packaging design, a passion for storytelling, an interest in bringing people together around food, the ability to blend bright colors and patterns, and an adaptable, open-minded approach.

What you’ll do:

Create graphics signs, sell sheets, sales decks, and digital assets (website banners, product pages, social media) needed for online and in-store marketing campaigns and sales events

Assist in photography asset development with marketing team members; food and shoot styling

Manage sourcing and ordering for print materials, assets, and branded merchandise

Maintain a library of all graphics organized and easily accessible

Create new packaging and label designs and existing packaging revisions to meet company goals and new product launch timelines, balancing aesthetics and labeling requirements

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s of Arts in Graphic Design or a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Graphic Designer

Exceptional skills in Adobe Creative Suite

Deep understanding of graphic design fundamentals such as type lock-ups, type hierarchy, layout, and identifying references to past design works

Experience with packaging design and a strong understanding of label design requirements

A strong collaborative mindset and ability to receive and implement feedback positively

A high level of organization, attention to detail, and efficient communication skills within a fast-paced environment

Nice to haves: illustrator skills, food photography styling, photo and video editing

Must be able to provide an online or digital portfolio of work
