Description If you're an experienced Senior Accountant, Robert Half needs your detail oriented know-how and leadership for an exciting short-term contract / contract opportunity. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations

Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)

Work with internal and external auditors to coordinate quarterly reviews and testing

Take part in various department-wide initiatives

Ready monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests Requirements - Project accounting experience

Excellent Communication Skills

Accounts Payable (AP) experience (paperless)

Strong familiarity with Accounting procedures

Knowledge of ERP systems - specifically Sage 300

Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate

BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired

Deep understanding of internal controls

Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines

Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

5+ years of overall general accounting experience

Proven ability to work and communication well with manager-level associates

A level of proficiency in financial reporting is preferential to this role

Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
