Sr. Accountant

Description We are in the search for a Sr. Accountant to join our team located in Greensboro, North Carolina. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity, where you will be primarily responsible for various accounting functions, including account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance. Responsibilities: Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. Maintain customer credit records with high precision. Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Monitor customer accounts regularly and take appropriate action when necessary. Manage account reconciliation processes to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations to prevent and resolve any discrepancies. Undertake bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy of data and timely completion. Maintain and update the general ledger on a regular basis. Prepare and post journal entries and ensure accurate completion of the same. Utilize software such as Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, SAP for efficient data management and reporting.Requirements Must possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field CPA or equivalent certification is preferred Demonstrable experience in account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation is essential Proficient in bank reconciliations and general ledger management Must have experience in creating and posting journal entries Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Experience with month-end close processes Familiarity with NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP accounting software is a plus Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment High level of integrity and professionalism.
