Sr. Accountant

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Cary, North Carolina. This role is pivotal in the financial sector, where you will be tasked with the review and preparation of financial reports, reconciliation tasks, and handling client distributions. This position is situated in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and requires a high level of proficiency in Yardi Voyager and Cam Reconciliation.Responsibilities: Conduct thorough review of financial reporting packages to ensure accuracy and completeness. Oversee the set up of TICAM in Yardi, ensuring all information is correctly inputted and updated. Carry out TICAM reconciliations to align financial records and correct discrepancies. Prepare and distribute financial distributions to clients in a timely and accurate manner. Calculate and review monthly management fees on a per-property basis to ensure correct charges are applied. Utilize Yardi Voyager for various accounting tasks, demonstrating a high level of proficiency. Exhibit strong skills in TICAM Reconciliation, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of accounts. Perform general ledger duties, including balance sheet reconciliation and journal entries. Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks including month-end close activities.
