Piper Companies is in search of a

Senior Devops Engineer for a Global Medical Device Technology company in

Raleigh, North Carolina. The

Senior Devops Engineer will work for a company that creates technology that revolutionizes the orthodontic industry. The

Devops Engineer will work with the Security, Software, Quality Assurance and Cloud and System Administration teams to deliver strong and consistent solutions that follow industry best practice and open standards. This is a

full time opportunity.

Responsibilities of the Senior Devops Engineer:
  • Designing and implementing tasks that supports Customer Identity & Access Management and API Management
  • Managing cloud infrastructure and services through the use and promotion of Infrastructure-as-Code tools
  • Building out and maintaining Kubernetes Infrastructure and CI/CD for developers
  • Advocating and implementing the use of reliable design patterns across the software organization
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous quality improvement of technical standards, methodologies, and technologies.

Requirements for the Senior Devops Engineer:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Devops Engineer with a focus on automation
  • Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Cloud Computing, specifically with AWS
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure As Code, using tools such as Cloudformation or Terraform
  • CI/CD pipeline experience using Jenkins, Bamboo, or Teamcity

Compensation for the Senior Devops Engineer:

  • Salary Range: $120,000-$140,000 + 10% annual bonus and stock options
