Sr. C#/.Net Developer

6+ Months Contract

Location: Greensboro, NC (Hybrid Schedule)

As a .Net Solution Developer for global service platform, you will provide expertise in delivering software detailed analysis and design, development, and unit testing services that support business requirements. The unique combination of technical skills and understanding of business requirements allows the Solution Developer to build technical platforms to drive digital transformation activities and create value at scale.

Responsiblities
  • Responsible for capturing detailed information needed for the design, construction, and testing of the software units
  • Responsible for the detailed design, coding, testing, and documentation of software units
  • Participates in estimation and planning of development, deployment, and operation activities
  • Authorized to make commitments that fall within the tasks/frameworks given by the customer, project manager, maintenance manager, or account manager
  • Authorized to propose changes that make the application more efficient and/or reduce operation or maintenance costs
  • Ensure that the right competence and resource availability exists to participate in pre-studies and projects to further develop the solution
  • Ensure solutions are well designed and developed for a secure, reliable, high performing, and highly-available experience for end-users
  • Drive innovation for system solutions management by staying abreast of technology trends in the Microsoft technology space
  • Act as technical adviser to a project team and management
  • Assist in product launch and production support operations as appropriate to ensure quality
  • Investigate application maintenance problems and make corrections as required to prevent reoccurrence

Experience
  • University Degree or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Systems/Computer Science
  • Proven experience and good performance as a Solution Developer
  • 5+ years of and VB.NET
  • 5+ years of full-stack hands-on programming experience
  • 5+ years of experience in the design and implementation of distributed systems
  • .NET experience in an enterprise environment utilizing .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#
  • Solid experience using SQL in data query and extraction operations
  • Experience in the Commercial Financial Services industry
  • Experience with WebAPI, and ASP.NET MVC
  • Experience working with GIT, Azure DevOps, and Azure Cloud
  • Experience in HTML5, CSS3, vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap experience with an RDBMS, preferably Oracle and/or SQL Server with WCF or SOAP/XML web services
  • Experience developing and supporting receivables factoring solutions
  • Proven ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks
  • An effective level of ambition and ability to understand team and corporate objectives
  • Ability to work under pressure while producing accurate output
  • Application development understanding utilizing Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Microsoft Entity Framework, MS Test, jQuery, nUnit testing framework, and log4net
  • Strong understanding of Service Oriented principles and techniques
  • Skilled in technical detailed analysis and detailed designs for software units
  • Knowledge of software engineering principles
  • Ability to achieve goals with minimum supervision

  • Good communication skills and ability to interact and influence colleagues from various cultural backgrounds
