In collaboration with your business and engineering partners, you'll be responsible for articulating the product vision and roadmap for technology capabilities supporting OneMain Financial's credit and pricing innovation objectives; namely:
- Offerings that get smarter as we do about a customer's needs and creditworthiness
- Journeys that reduce in friction as our confidence in a customer's credit/risk profile increases
- Pricing capabilities that can flex and scale across products, channels, and customer types
- Vision and strategy: Create a vision and product plan for evolving the execution of credit and pricing strategy across channels and financial services products.
- Customer focus: represent the customer's viewpoint in the execution of underwriting strategy, and influence how customers interact with offers and other credit/pricing decisions.
- Cross-team: Partner cross-functionally with other product managers and engineering teams to build and evolve capabilities, manage dependencies, and align prioritization across teams as applicable.
- Go-to-market planning: Partner closely with your readiness lead and across other functions, such as operations, marketing, security, and legal/compliance, to ensure the organization is prepared for the impact of the new capabilities you and your team introduce.
- Execution: Partner with your engineering team to bring your product backlog to life in ways that deliver value to market quickly and iteratively.
- Analyze data & understand user behavior: Inform and drive key decisions with data-informed insights and research.
- A product manager with 3-5 years experience. Experience at a financial services or fintech company preferred; underwriting experience is even better.
- You have experience working with engineering teams responsible for implementing and evolving 3rd party SaaS platforms.
- You are passionate about decisioning, machine learning and personalization.
- You are adept at visioning, prioritizing, executing, and reporting success against fundamental business metrics.
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills at all levels of organization and customers, including the ability to distill complex concepts for a non-technical audience.
