Synechron Inc is seeking Sr Product Owner in financial services to join our Charlette ,NC, Iselin, NJ/ Frisco, TX (locals preferred / on-site 2-3 days a week must) team, long term .

Mandatory Skills:
  • Experienced Project Manager / Business/Systems Analyst (prefer 10+ years’ experience) to own all efforts related to specific business domain
  • Experience with Asset Management (Regulatory Reporting and Trade Monitoring areas, and data related to Holdings, Securities, Indices, Funds, Trades, etc.)
  • Detailed oriented, analytical, proactive, and deliverable/timeline driven
  • Sense of ownership and accountability
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.)
  • Skilled in JIRA, SharePoint, Confluence
  • Understands data movement process flows and architecture from/to internal and external sources/targets (ETL, file transfers, data transformations, database, servers, etc.)
  • Understands Data Consolidation Architecture (Snowflake, etc.) and Reporting Tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Understands complex business logic and can translate into requirements
  • Run agile ceremonies (daily standups, feature reviews, retrospectives, sprint planning, PI Planning, etc.) aligning with agile methodologies (story pointing, toll gates, demos, signoffs, removing roadblocks, etc.)
  • Run weekly status meetings with business users, capturing meeting notes and action items and following up on action items to closure
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including putting together project timelines, maintaining and reporting status on deliverables, raising and tracking risks to closure, and tracking and communicating implementations to project team, business owners, and leadership
  • Gathering, documenting, and reporting weekly and monthly status to leadership for multiple projects running in parallel.
  • Ability to understand and capture overall goal of projects
  • Work with business users to understand and gather requirements
  • Document requirements, process flows, data flows, and data/gap analysis for each project
  • Ability to break down project goals and requirements into epics, features, and stories to deliver work in agile fashion
  • Communicate requirements to development/QA team and support project team to develop, test, and implement quality deliverables
  • Team Player willing to wear multiple hats to manage and deliver planned efforts
  • Gather, document and track prod support issues to closure.
