Brightspeed has an exciting opportunity for a Sr Program Manager Engineering & Construction to join our growing team.  As Sr Program Manager Engineering & Construction, you will report into our Sr Manager Engineering & Construction and will be responsible for various project management aspects associated high speed fiber and copper engineering and construction.  This includes project scheduling, budget analysis, vendor coordination and cross functional team alignment. In addition to tracking team project and goal performance and adhering to policy and build standards.  The position will be a key part of the North Carolina Engineering and Construction team.  This position will work collectively with the cross functional teammates and external vendors to drive BAU (Business as Usual) and special project efforts.  This role requires strong business acumen, the abilities to define and implement groundbreaking ideas, to work within a fast-moving environment to rapidly deliver support and services that have a broad business impact, and desire to have an industry wide impact. You will find this a tremendous opportunity to join a company at the infancy of a fiber deployment plan and contribute to building a superior fiber data and communication network. As Sr Program Manager Engineering & Construction, you will have the following responsibilities:Lead project management of development and monitoring of an engineering and construction build plan for Fiber to the Home, Fiber to the Tower and Fiber to the EnterpriseDirect local engineers and vendor partners in the review of mechanized engineering designs for potential redesign opportunities and needsProject manage engineering design changes and keep up with all revision changes in our records for both design and schedule trackingProvide process support to the network team and infrastructure services contractors supporting front line execution of an extensive fiber deploymentProject manage cross functional process changes to optimize fiber build efficiencyDrive the company culture and strategies. Creates strategies to achieve business goals such as increasing revenues, optimizing expenses, and developing a skilled, motivated, satisfied, and diverse workforceLead by example in creating an environment that encourages open communication, sharing ideas and best practices, and building strong cross-functional relationshipsDetailed Responsibilities of the position:Regional systems support managementCreating priorities and actionable items for teamWork on national score card analysisPlan out mitigation and program recovery strategiesAsist in the development of processes and toolsRegional point person for national effortsSE North Carolina point person for regional work priority analysisReport creation using data and creation of power point presentations
