  • You will report to the Manager, Program Management and work on very visible programs.
WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • You'll provide leadership and coordination to Engineering programs that span multiple teams and departments within new commercial bank
  • Ensure your program teams work together to create goals and timelines.
  • Create detailed project plans with engineering and other teams to agree on deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Increase collaboration and improve visibility into crossteam dependencies.
  • Communicate risk in projects early so that mitigation steps can be taken.
  • Guide more efficiency across teams by identifying new processes or improvements to existing processes.
  • Drive release planning and activities that span across multiple teams. Manage project schedule and communications processes to successfully integrate at least three external partners with our client's net new mobile APIs and software applications
  • Act as a subject matter expert on commercial banking institutional knowledge: deposits, offers checking account services, makes various loans, and offers basic financial products like certificates of deposit (CDs) and savings accounts to individuals and small businesses.
  • Identify and communicate all project risks and blockers to engineering management
  • Deliver regular status updates on integration projects to management, as requested
  • Provide leadership and coordination on projects that span multiple teams and initiatives
  • Updating leadership on progress or blockers across all projects
  • Identify and communicate risk in projects early to mitigate in time
  • Identify and drive both internal and external process improvements
  • Organize and lead Agile ceremonies each sprint
  • Have the opportunity to significantly impact member experiences
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • 8+ years experience of technical project management specifically within Commercial Banking
  • Institutional knowledge of Commercial Banking products; deposits, offers checking account services, makes various loans, and offers basic financial products like certificates of deposit (CDs) and savings accounts to individuals and small businesses.
  • Experience working with Product, Engineering, Design and QA teams on net new products
  • Experience project managing across multiple teams towards a common goal
  • Experience working with partner engineering teams on white-labeled API integrations
  • You have start-up or small company experience, and working in low structure environments. Specifically working in fast-paced agile sprints and are comfortable with ambiguous, low structure and rapidly changing environments
  • You are experience with Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and scaled Agile principles and practices.
  • You have managed a project involving 3 or more teams and 20 or more individuals from conception to delivery.
  • Proven ability to influence without authority.
  • Self-starter who is biased towards taking action to get the job done.
  • Critical thinker who will challenge that we are doing things the right way
