Staff Accountant

Description Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Staff Accountant in Garner, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and at least three years or corporate or public accounting experience. This onsite role will oversee a small team and leads the accounting duties in a fast-paced environment, using key skills such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, and SAP.Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes Regularly perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy Maintain and manage the General Ledger entries and adjustments Ensure accurate journal entries are made in a timely manner Handle the Month-End Close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate Utilize SAP for various accounting and financial functions Monitor financial transactions and reports Collaborate with other departments to gather and track financial data Develop and implement efficient accounting processes and policies Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standardsRequirements Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations is essential Must have experience with General Ledger management Proficiency in Journal Entries is required Experience in Month End Close is a must Familiarity with SAP accounting software is a necessity Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
