DescriptionUNC Health's new North Carolina Surgical Hospital, slated to debut in the spring of 2024, boasts state-of-the-art operating rooms and patient-centric healing environments. This space will connect to our existing five-building UNC Medical Center campus and feature the following: Seven stories with 375,000 square feet 26 ORS, including hybrid rooms accommodating imaging technology. 59 pre- and post-operative rooms 80 ICU beds and 15 surgical observation beds!This is a 40 hours per week position; working 8 hour shifts with weekend and holiday rotation.Available Shifts: 7:00a-3:30p and 3:00p-11:30pThis position requires the ability to attend a week long orientation (Monday through Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm) which is offered every two weeks.Become part of an inclusive organization with over 40,000 diverse employees, whose mission is to improve the health and well-being of the unique communities we serve.Summary:Receives, orders, inventories, stores and issues items (food, drugs, equipment, chemicals, products, etc.) throughout the facility and off-site locations. This position performs these duties in both patient and non-patient related care areas and is assigned to a variety of departments throughout UNC Hospitals.Responsibilities:

Assists with patient and other transportation as requested

Loads and unloads supplies. Packs and unpacks items to be stocked.

Maintains invoices and other records.

Maintains storage areas in safe, neat and clean condition

Receives, orders, inventories, stores and distributes supplies

User consultationmeets with users to fulfill needs.
