Support Worker - Home Care Packages

The Home Care Package (HCP) team provide individually planned and coordinated suite of support and services designed to assist older people who need support to remain living independently, in their own homes.  Casual position covering the area spanning the Mid-North Coast.Office based in Port Macquarie (Birpai Nation (Birpai People)). Paying up to $36.46ph + 25% casual loading + Not-for-Profit Salary Packaging + Time and travel paid between clients + In shift travel reimbursements. We’re on the lookout for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker (new or experienced) qualified with a with a min Cert III in Aged Care, to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of older adults.

If you have experience working as a Support Worker, are qualified with a Minimum Cert III in Aged Care, Community Support or related field, and enjoy variety in your day, you might be exactly the person we're looking for!Minimum Cert III Qualification in Aged Care, or Individual Support (must have completed aged care components).Experience working with older adults.The ability to follow and implement individual service plans, healthcare, and positive behaviour support plans.A desire to use your skills and experience creating fun and interesting activities that support older adults to engage more consistently with their community and peers.A valid driver’s licence.
