TCI has an immediate need for a

System Engineer / Scripter in Raleigh, NC. This is not a Corp2Corp opportunity. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the probability of hire. Please note that this position requires US Citizenship and a DoD Public Trust Security Clearance prior to start. Note: Hybrid work schedule is possible, however, the candidate must be able to work on-site occasionally when needed.

SUMMARY The System Engineer / Scripter will support mission critical systems to provide production support of the hardware and software in a large multi-vendor, multi-platform technology infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain infrastructure with latest updates and patching.
  • Deployments to distributed systems.
  • Research, design, and recommend solutions to meet requirements.
  • Develop and test automated scripts and processes for software deployment and data gathering.
  • Provide support and troubleshoot issues quickly.
  • Develop and document processes and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong scripting and packaging experience for administration, automation of processes, and issue resolution.
  • Must be able to write code in Windows PowerShell 5.1 and batch.
  • Must have experience performing remote deployments and integration of Windows 10 systems in a distributed environment.
  • Must have strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
  • Must have strong knowledge of SCCM/MECM (Configuration Manager).
  • Working knowledge of Adaptiva (desirable).
  • Must have working knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policies.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts and secure protocols.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to develop clear and concise documentation.
  • Must be U.S. Citizen and eligible for a Public Trust clearance and may be required to obtain a higher security clearance.
