A North Carolina-based retail company is looking to fill an immediate need on their team in Charlotte with the addition of a new Systems Analyst (Oracle E-Business). In this role, the Systems Analyst (Oracle E-Business) will be responsible for providing technical expertise related to various application areas as well as working directly with business partners to define requirements, analyze, design, and develop systems to meet ongoing and evolving retail business requirements.

Responsibilities: The Systems Analyst (Oracle E-Business) will:
  • Perform systems analysis and design and be an integral part of team providing creative technical solutions for the Finance and HR areas
  • Offer solid business and process knowledge in gathering requirements, presenting solutions, and influencing decisions.
  • Work with functional teams to configure Oracle E-Business application modules
  • Offer technical expertise in customizing, extending, and personalizing pages within application modules to streamline task flows
  • Provide ongoing testing and support of E-Business software updates
  • Design, develop code, and test programs based upon defined specifications using agreed upon development tools
  • Work with both internal functional departments and external vendor teams to develop Oracle E-Business data integrations using application program interfaces and custom-developed scripts, as needed
  • Develop and maintain custom Oracle applications to enable business processing within areas, such as Sales Audit, Inventory Control, Purchasing, Payables, Payroll, and General Ledger
  • Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Application Development experience working with Oracle databases
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience developing data integrations with Oracle E-Business modules using apis and open interfaces
  • Working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, APEX, and/or other Oracle development tools and methodologies
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

Desired Skills:
  • Experience in extending and personalizing the Oracle Applications Framework pages and mobile apps to improve the user experience
