Tax CounselRequires a high level of expertise in company tax matters, an understanding of retirement plans and investments, as well as outstanding communication and writing skills. This position is responsible for supporting corporate tax through federal, state and foreign research and drafting of legal opinions. This position will also have primary responsibility for the preparation of external communications regarding tax laws and regulatory developments from corporate tax to business and functional leaders throughout the enterprise.Key Responsibilities and DutiesExternal Corporate Tax communications of company tax matters, including government relations outreach on company tax matters. Counsel will develop technical tax positions within corporate tax.

Assisting corporate tax leaders with tax planning and other matters, learning life company taxation, investment and, international tax on the job

Assisting as needed with federal, state and international tax audits through tax analysis, research and writing

Assisting the product tax team with retirement plans, product taxation, withholding and reporting, payroll taxes and executive compensation

Educational RequirementsUniversity (Degree) PreferredÂ

JD degree

LLM Taxation or CPA
