Technical Trainer

We are looking for a Technical Trainer. This is a full time permanent hire position in Cary, North Carolina with our client. In this role as a Technical Trainer you will be creating training materials and develop technical training programs to deliver training to company’s customers, internal employees and partners. You must be extremely knowledgeable in their field of expertise and possess solid technical aptitude. We expect you to be an excellent communicator, able to explain complex subjects in a clear and interesting way. You will be learning all facets of the company’s software products/platform and general planning concepts, communicating with Professional Services project teams to learn the specifics of customer systems and train customer users.

• Devise technical training programs according to organizational requirements
• Produce training schedules and classroom agenda
• Determine course content according to objectives
• Prepare training material (presentations, worksheets etc.)
• Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually
• Arrange for and conduct on-site training when needed
• Advertise Training Program and Maintain the Training Catalog and Training Plan

• Keep and report data on completed courses, absences, issues etc.
• Observe and evaluate results of training programs
• Determine overall effectiveness of programs and make improvements

• 5+ years of experience delivering software training/demonstrations
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent facilitation skills
• Excellent time management
• Ability to create training materials in various formats (documentation, media, video)
• Experience in classroom training
• Experience in delivering technical application training to customers
• Experience in delivering remote training (GotoMeeting, WebEx, Teams, Zoom, etc)
• Experience with Learning Management Systems
• Analytical ability to understand planning concepts and deliver customer-specific system training
• Ability to train in the areas of technical configuration and analytical concepts is a huge plus
