ABOUT OUR PROGRAMMEOur traineeship programme is designed to bring you fast-track into a senior expert role in your chosen field. As a trainee, you will have the chance to work in specialized areas, exciting projects and gain exposure to different departments and leaders. In addition, you can complete an assignment in one of our METRO countries, providing a truly international experience.In our trainee programme in Procurement, you will experience a steep learning curve in sourcing food and non-food that brings our assortment to the next level and drives business growth. You will get hands-on experience in analyzing market trends, defining assortment ranges, negotiating with suppliers, and collaborating closely with our international wholesale entities. You will gain first-hand insights in our International Trading Offices and develop your expertise in monitoring food-related Quality Assurance.
