Tray Room Attendant 1st Shift.

DescriptionJBS USA, the World’s leading protein producer, is currently seeking skilled and experienced Production Works to join the team in the one of our fast paced and exciting Retail Ready plants in Lenoir, NC.We are searching for the following positionTray Room - Hourly ProductionResponsibilities:-Knowledge of the different types of trays-Uses the production plan to determine what trays need to be dropped to the production lines.-Keeps inventory count twice a week and as requested-Keep tray room organized and clean at all times-Keeping up with dry goods traceability forms for QA.-Interacting with Inventory clerk (Karen) and Rodney (receiving supervisor) in keeping the tray room accurately full.-Keeping the canteen clean and organized-Taking the trash out daily-Lift 25-30lbs max. (pallets & trays)-Positive attitude-Other tasks as neededExposure and Risk

Cold, wet, damp environment

Standing for prolonged periods of time

Uneven walking surfaces and slippery floors

The Ideal Candidate:

A solid work history, previous manufacturing or food processing experience preferred

An eye for detail and a passion for quality

Willingness to work in a fast paced, cold environment preforming repetitive work.

Excellent communication skills.

The successful applicant will be responsible for tasks such as cutting meat and packaging and presentation of product
