Tree Service – (Matthews NC)

Positions Available: Climber & Grounds Crew

Compensation: Compensation based on qualifications and experience

Employment type: Full Time (Monday-Friday)

Job title: Tree Climber & Ground Crew

Requirements: Must be available Monday-Friday. MUST have a valid driver’s license if you don’t DO NOT apply for this position.

Job Duties:

Climb & descent trees using rope & safety harness

Use chainsaw to cut brush, limbs & logs of large trees

Operate company truck(s) & equipment maintaining them in neat, clean & specified mechanical order

Works around hazardous equipment

Works around excessive noise from chain saws, chippers & equipment

Come to work dressed in appropriate clothing/work boots

Additional REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to maintain attention and concentration for extended period of times

Must be able to wear necessary proper protection equipment

Must be able to understand verbal job instructions/information

Must be able to work well with others a team, & to communicate to each other

Must be able to maintain attention during dangerous tasks

Must be able to life, move & maneuver up to 50lbs

Must have endurance necessary to perform these duties throughout a standard 8-10hr day

Typical work schedule Monday-Friday with a possibility of emergencies & or storm work

Must have reliable transportation to & from startup location (Matthews NC 28104)

Must have valid driver’s license.

Prior Tree Care/Climbing Preferred
